The playable build starts off Diablo IV Gold at Fractured Peaks with my hero's horse being killed , leaving him in a cave by self for the entire night. From the caves emerged the first stop, Nevesk, a very small town in which things aren't what they seem.
Lilith already had an effect on the people here and her real strength lies in having people indulge in their darker side. This was the very first interaction my character was able to have with other NPCs and it was quite clear that the developers would like to give the hero more role in the story through having their own dialogue and playing parts in the cut scenes.
The town is Nevesk where the effect of Lilith's actions on the people of Sanctuary is shown. There's more to her other than being evil, which sets her as an interesting adversary when compared to other Great Evils in previous Diablo titles. While her ultimate plan isn't evident until very early in the game but her presence is felt and was deliberately so by the development team.
"By making you discover the story of what's going on and the impact she has on the world, and you'll get to understand her motives," stated game's director Joe Shely. "You are able to see what she's trying for and also feel more connected to her.
And maybe there's a hint of doubt there. you're like: watch Star Wars and go like Vader. Vader did have a point. I think the notion of having more interaction Big Bad means that cheap Diablo 4 Gold you'll have a more satisfying ending as you go through the narrative, when you're through it."
